This excellent piece on how the One Percent is winning big on the rest of our backs during the COVID-19 practice is well worth a read. They screamed and wailed about Sanders or Warren possible implementing a very slight tax increase against unearned income like this when they should be counting their blessings we're not sharpening axes and setting up chopping blocks. Also, Elon Musk is a dickhead . I don't know how many times he has to tell us before it sinks in. He's not going to give you any money. Sid Meier took a whack at XCOM: Chimera Squad . South Florida Coronavirus Update . Nation-wide, a company called Gilead (which isn't worrisome at all) has some promising news on a drug to combat the virus, stirring up the people who were better on fish tank cleaner. Rich folks are planning on keeping their kids at home even if schools reopen and everyone else can go screw. Finally, the incredibly flawed and abused PPP program designed to help small businesses but

Just waiting for my hair to dry.

So, I let the "Daily Links" thing fall to the wayside. To be fair, I haven't really come across any interesting links the last couple of days. I am going to post this link , mainly because it'll come in useful tomorrow when I get around to writing the COVID-19 update for Work. This one, too . These two will be for the WordPress site if I get around to doing the News tomorrow.    "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit."    That's attributed to W.C. Fields, but apparently there's no evidence he did or, indeed, who did. I like it, though. It's a good rule of thumb to live by, especially in this world. One thing W.C. Fields did say "You can't cheat an honest man", and this dictum works with the previous.  Going to try something here. Going to make a list of links I want to read but perhaps not right now.  Just for the hell of it, we'll post it at 6 p.m. Central. Might add to it afterwards, might start on the next days. All depends on what I consider the start of the day. Anyhow. I make no guarantees as to the quality or content of these links, just that there are no virus or phishing whatnots. Most of these are from websites I either frequent or recomended by trustworthy sources. Regardless, proceed at your own risk. Opening a New House

I've decided to start a new blog. Or at least play around with starting a new blog. Mainly I'm just doing this to clean up a bit of clutter. I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll be doing with this apart from spending the wee hours fiddling with it and trying to figure out why I can get what I copy-&-paste from Google Doc's to format worth a damn. Maybe that's just me.  Anyhow. Whether I do anything with this or not, I don't know. I am going to keep from doing any sort of publicizing on my other sites or Twitter until I decide otherwise. I may just save it for the darker dives I really don't wish to discuss with anyone else. We'll see.  In the meantime, links: Other Blogger Site (Gibberish) WordPress Site (The News) Tumblr Site (It's The Arts) Twitter LinkedIn  Like I said, I don't know what I'll do with this, where it'll go, what it'll be, or why anyone should care. I'm a year back into writing and while I
